Course Leader - Access Creative College

My job role at Access is to teach across both Media and Games students, leading on planning for several sessions and marking completed work.
As part of my sessions I have to prepare materials, instruct students on practical skills and the theory behind media and game products.
Another of my duties as course leader is to check in with the students who I manage to make sure they are achieving on the course and to support them with any issues they may have.

Teacher of Creative Media - Kingsthorpe College

My position in this job is to teach both Level 2 and 3 Creative Digital Media and Games Design, this involves teaching students about media theory such as audience theory, reading and analysing media texts.
I am also responsible for teaching students practical skills such as handling camera equipment, using software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Autodesk Maya and Unity.

I have done a lot of training in these programs and have done some training in these areas to improve my skills even further.

Teaching Assistant/Co-Tutor - Rushden Academy

I planned and delivered lessons for GCSE Media Studies and supported students throughout the lesson. My other duties included supporting students in a variety of subjects ranging from English, History and ICT, I worked with a variety of students of different abilities and different age groups as a support for learning.
I started in this job in the position of a Teaching Assistant and due to an absence of a staff member I was asked to lead the Media Studies lessons as a Co-Tutor.
